The new SHR-5162 Digital Video Recorder from SAMSUNG Electronics uses dual codec to record to the local HDD and transmit video over the network.

MPEG-4 compression provides crisp high quality images with excellent utilization of available storage space. This allows high quality recording and remote monitoring. The SHR-5162 records at a rate of 120fps distributed across the 16 cameras.

The SHR-5162 has various back-up options, including USB and a built-in DVD-RW.

Remote viewing and monitoring can be done via a web browser or SAMSUNG Electronics’ powerful remote software.
